Two Robots Studios is building Two Robots: Unleashed, a competitive sci-fi card battler and multiplayer universe designed for long-term mastery, spectatorship, and global play.
As we expand internationally, we need translators who understand that localization is not just word-for-word conversion. You will help players in four markets feel the same tension, humor, and stakes that English speakers feel. That requires fluency in both language and game culture.
What You'll Do
- Translate and localize game content including:
- UI text and menus
- Tutorial dialogue and cinematic scripts
- Patch notes and in-game announcements
- Marketing copy and store-facing text (Steam, trailers, etc.)
- Adapt tone and phrasing to preserve competitive clarity, emotional impact, and worldbuilding - not just literal meaning
- Work from a shared glossary and style guide to keep terminology consistent across all markets
- Flag cultural sensitivities, untranslatable concepts, or localization risks before they ship
- Help build and maintain the glossary and style guide for your language(s)
- Provide feedback on how localization impacts onboarding, tutorial clarity, and player retention

We're open to candidates who cover one or multiple languages. Fluency in English is required for all applicants.
Who You Are
- Native or C2-level fluency in one or more of the listed languages
- Prior experience localizing games, software, or interactive media
- Comfortable with spreadsheet-based workflows and async version-control notes
- Strong sense of tone. We're irreverent, not corporate, and the localization should reflect that.
- Familiar with gaming culture and competitive vocabulary in your language(s)
- Able to work independently and communicate progress clearly without hand-holding
Bonus Points
- Experience with game-specific localization tools (Lokalise, Crowdin, POEditor, etc.)
- Familiar with competitive or card game terminology in your target language
- Have localized for multiple platforms: PC, mobile, or console
- Can cover more than one of our priority languages
- Play competitive games yourself - you'll understand what precision in language actually means for gameplay
